Why should we be saved?

Death & Hell
There is reality that awaits humankind and this is based on our state of life that we live before God. The wages of sin is death and hell is a place of torment for those who have rejected salvation plan of God. When we are still alive most people don’t make sense out of this because of ignorance as (I Peter 3:18) “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit.” There is impending danger that a waits those who fail to respond to the call of God, that was made public on the cross of Golgotha/ Calvary. Jesus died that those who are sinners should be saved through him. The Psalmist in (Psalms 18:4-6) says: “The sorrows of death compassed me,and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the Lord and cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry came before Him; even unto His ears.” It is true that death and hell is a reality and not a myth, when we call on the name of the Lord for our salvation He delivers us from the penalty of death and hell. The only solution mankind has for his/her salvation is to seek the deliverer, redeemer… His name is Jesus Christ the savior of the world. The wicked and those who in their heart decide to reject or forget the salvation plan of God have a reward which is hell. (Psalms 9:17) “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

You don’t have to let things get out of control by ignoring to be saved. Humankind always finds himself/herself in Ignorance as a result of lack of sufficient knowledge or rejecting the existing reality in fear that obedience shall be called for, hence being liable for the consequences of ignorance. The penaltyof death as a result of sin can only be taken away from us by Jesus Christ in believing the gospel… hence makes a decision to make Him your personal savior. (II Peter1:10) “…Who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” To be saved therefore is not for cowards but it is a plan of God to save humankind from their sin. You have an opportunity to look though your life and answer this question by asking Jesus Christ into your life…now and not any other time because there is impending danger as a result of sin.  After going through this brief biblical structure of “why we should be saved,” there should be some kind of decision that you have reached. It is important to exercise your power of choice positively in making sure that you live by His word. Jesus is the only savior of the world, He can save you by forgiving you even of the most incredible sins you have committed in this world. We hereby help you establish a relationship with Jesus.
