Biblical prophecy is accurate because all that it declares so becomes. We live in times that prophecy is becoming alive each day, yet not all people are aware of this, simply because no special attention is given to biblical prophecy and its fulfillment. Israel is central in the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. This people group known as Israel and their homeland are inseparable. It should be appreciated that Israel’s existence has drawn a lot of controversy for generations, but we thank God that no human being has or will ever overturn the promise of God for his people Israel. No people groups in the world history have had conflict over their homeland and deportations like Israel. For us to better understand Israel as a people group and their homeland, it is commendable that we refer to the word of God, because no world history and philosophy can best explain, why?

Biblical Thought:
Genesis 15:18-21. In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram , saying , unto thy seed have  I given this land , from the river of Egypt unto the great river , the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites , And Hivittetes, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims , And the Amorites, and the Canaanites , and the Girgashites , and the Jebusites’
The word of the Lord in (Genesis 35:10-12) further declares:
And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. And said unto him , I am God almighty : be fruitful and multiply ; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it , and to thy seed after thee will I give the land’

Theological Insight:
It is worthy to note that the Lord Himself made a covenant with Abram and geographically located land on earth and not in heaven, with dimensions made clear in the above passage, for heritance by Abram’s descendants now known as Israelites. It is also clear that biblical covenants especially initiated by God stands as to the specification forever. Israel was chosen and given by God the land of promise, for they did not conquer and acquired it militarily as anyone might assume nowadays. This biblical reality must be appreciated and not ignored, so as to better understand the position of Israel in world politics today.
